Yes, Mr. Berg is the gentleman who sued Bush and Cheney under RICO, alleging that they conspired to make 9/11 happen. He also petitioned for disbarrment of three US Supreme Court Justices based on their opinions in Gore v. Bush.

Mr. Berg is ALSO the gentleman about which another district court said, his decision to file suit was "irresponsible decision" and his claims were "utterly barren of any scintilla of legal principles," continuing that, "Other attorneys should look to Mr. Berg's actions as a blueprint for what not to do when attempting to effectively and honorably perform the duties of the legal profession." However, regardless of how one characterizes his past actions, THIS case should be considered on its own "merits." In that regard...

1. As the district court ruled, Mr. Berg's legal arguments are frivilous and venture into the unreasonable.

2. As LINK has shown, Mr. Berg's factual allegations have no evidentiary support and his claims are without merit.

This is not acceptable. What agency has vetted or reviewed Obama's credentials. Why haven't they stepped forward with a statement saying prior to placing Obama on the ballot we reviewed his original birth certificate and school records.

The Founding Fathtes must be rolling in their graves. A Citizen should have the right to question the qualifications of any candidate. There should be a transparent policy in place for every candidate.

It is possible that the Electoral College will vet Obama and if they find he is not qualified they can withold electoral votes, it has happened at least once in the past. Should that happen and Obama be denied the Presidency there will be an enormous crisis in this country.

If Barry, a.k.a. Barack, has nothing to hide, then why is has he not produced proof of citizenship? He's a fraud and a liar! He is a confessed communist and will do absolutely no good for our United States of America. Neither will McCain, if elected. The court was correct. A U.S. citizen does not have standing in U.S. federal courts concerning the question as presented by Philip J. Berg. The U.S. Constition does not establish the right for all U.S. citizens to vote for the Office of President of the United States. We the people send Electors to the Electoral College based on popular vote. The Electors vote for the President. The only individual who would have standing before the Supreme Court on the question posed by Berg would be a member of the 2008 Electorial College.

First off, the claim that Barack Obama has not released his birth certificate is false. He released it months ago.

The hoaxers have claimed that this certificate is a fake, but have yet to produce any evidence to back that claim up. Their approach, straight out of the Napoleonic code, is to make continual accusations and demand that the accused prove their innocence. They hope that simply by repeating a claim often enough, useful idiots will come to believe it. But here in the United States, we follow the principle that the ACCUSER must prove the accused guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt. What that means is that when the Swift-Boaters accuse Barack Obama of fraud, it is they who are required to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Otherwise, we as citizens are obligated to ignore such baseless accusations.

There is more evidence that backs up the Birth Certificate. Hawaii has two major newspapers, the Honolulu Advertiser and the Star Bulletin. BOTH newspapers include birth announcements, and pages found in the archives of BOTH newspapers record the August 4th, 1961 birth of Barack Obama.

Your interpretation of the constitution is way off. First of all, Article VI, section 3 states "...no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."
So if he was a Muslim (which he is not), what would it matter? It would not disqualify him to be a candidate for the presidency. Second, the same is true if he had anti-American sentiments (which he does not). A presidential candidate has the right to express anti-American sentiment, and you have the right to not vote for that person. Simple as that.
How ironic of you to try and conjure up some appeal to civil liberties and freedom by asking people to stiffle Obama's and his voter's liberties.

Article II, Section 1, Clause 3 of the Constitution provided for the original fashion by which the President and Vice President were to be chosen by the electors. The primary difference was that each elector voted for two Persons for President, rather than one vote for President and one vote for Vice President. After the choosing of the President, whoever had the most electoral votes, among the remaining candidates, would become the Vice President.

The design of the Electoral College was based upon several assumptions and anticipations of the Framers of the Constitution:

Each state would employ the district system of allocating electors.
Each presidential elector would exercise independent judgment when voting.
Candidates for either office would not pair together on the same ticket.
The system as designed would rarely produce a winner, thus sending the election to Congress.

On these facts, scholars have described the intended role of the Electoral College as simply a body who would nominate candidates from which the Congress would then select a President and Vice President.

However, the emergence of political parties and nationally coordinated election campaigns soon complicated matters in the elections of 1796 and 1800. In 1796, the winner of the election was John Adams, a member of the Federalist Party, and the runner up (and therefore the new Vice President) was Thomas Jefferson, a member of the opposition Democratic-Republican Party.

In 1800, the candidates of the Democratic-Republican Party (Jefferson for President and Aaron Burr for Vice President) each tied for first place. However, since all electoral votes were for President, Burr's votes were technically for him being President even though he was his party's second choice. Jefferson was so hated by Federalists that the party members sitting in the lameduck Congress tried to elect Burr. The Congress deadlocked for 35 ballots as neither candidate received the necessary vote of a majority (nine) of the state delegations in the House. "A lot of these small working-class towns are being invaded by different types of people," says Douglas Myers, one of Colony 14's founders. He says the group speaks out for the rights of whites being pushed aside by newcomers.

"It appears they are tapping into and fanning the flames of mainstream America's fear of immigrants," says Ann Van Dyke of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. "They are increasingly using the language of Main Street, things like, 'We want safe communities to raise our children.' "

Myers says the group is organizing family-friendly activities, rejecting the violence that made skinheads notorious. For example, they plan gatherings in public libraries.

"It's not the footage from the '80s with people burning crosses. It's a very healthy environment," Myers, 26, says.

"Many people in this country, even if they were upset with the country's immigration policies, never felt that threatened until now," Black, 55, says. "White people were the majority. That's rapidly changing."

Black says the candidacy of Barack Obama has raised his site's profile.

In the past year, members have posted 337 entries on Stormfront related to Obama, ranging from whether an Obama victory will start a revolution among whites to whether the candidate will take away gun rights.

Black's son, Derek, 19, was elected to the Palm Beach County, Fla., Republican committee in August. Local Republican leaders are trying to unseat him after learning of his white supremacist ties.

Don Black, once a Ku Klux Klan leader in Alabama, says he's encouraged by the enthusiasm he sees.

"We see a lot of people coming out of the woodwork," he says.

Putting aside all the conspiracy theories, some of which are not even worth mentioning.
When did we as a nation lose the ability to question our leaders? This country was founded on the premise of "For the people, By the people".
Even though the rumor mill has gotten a bit out of control, is it so far beyond the realm of reason that a candidate answer a basic question by the citizens he wishes to lead?
